Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 7 will be officially released in January 2017 and will feature VR Playstation support being the first game in the series to provide the virtual reality experience for fans and perhaps more crucially will be the first game in the series to be shot from a first person perspective regardless of whether you play it via the Playstation VR headset or not.

A demo was released in June 2016 exclusively for Playstation 4 players. The script goes like this...

The Demo is Not the Official Game

The demo aims to provide fans with a taste of what sort of game is to come but does not represent an official part of the game itself to be released in 2017.

Unlike many other RE titles that strayed from the earlier games concept of scrounge to survive including weapons, RE 7 will revert back to such earlier games whereby you won't be indulged with an arsenal of trigger happy weapons to unload on zombies. This will be a welcome back track by fans who have been asking for sometime now that the developers go back to what made Resident Evil the number one survival horror series on all consoles.

Game Plot

RE 7 is set after the events of RE 6 and is based in rural America. There will be a completely new character as the games lead role and there will be no familiar faces from previous games. More interestingly still is the fact that the new character won't be any sort of military personnel, nor will they will be particularly handy with any particular weapons giving players a sense of hopelessness and desperation as they try to survive in the latest chapter of the zombie outbreak series.

Stay tuned for more updates on the game as they come in from Capcom.
